In yesterday’s post I mentioned that I was going to be giving specific gift ideas so I’ve decided to break it down into two posts, this post and tomorrows. As you can probably guess from the title of this post, I will be focussing on ‘gifts for her’.
Who doesn’t love new pyjamas? Christmas is the perfect time to update your pyjama collection. I love browsing through pyjamas in shops and trying to find a good pair to give as a gift. Pyjamas are a standard gift that I give, mostly for my mum. In the winter months I tend to buy the long legged, long sleeved pyjamas but I know some people (like me) prefer short sleeved tops even in the winter.
This is a great gift to go with the pyjamas, especially if you can find matching ones to go with the pyjamas you buy. My mum loves slippers, is always wearing them and goes through them pretty quickly. For the past few years I’ve bought her 2 pairs of slippers and this year is no different. The only difference is that I matched the slippers with the pyjamas I bought.
Lush is a great place to get great presents with everything from singular bath bombs to specially put together gift boxes. Last year was the first time I shopped in Lush and I bought quite a few products as presents. I decided to go in again this year and buy a few items to give people. If you want branded products such as Nivea, Dove etc then Superdrug is a great place to buy gift sets at affordable prices.
There are some great beauty products out there, and there are also some expensive beauty products out there. Certain brands are deemed as a desirable gift option but they can break the bank. Cheaper options are available at high street drugstores.
Whether it’s a bracelet, earrings or a charm to go on a bracelet, jewellery is always a great option. For the past 5 years I’ve been the receiver of a jewellery gift but now I’m returning the gift.
Who doesn’t love chocolate? Luxury chocolates make a great gift.
This option can be tricky because some people have one perfume that they like and don’t want any other perfume. It’s a good idea to see if you can find out which perfume the person likes. Either find where they keep their perfume and check which one they get, or ask someone close to the person and see if they can find out.
If you know where a person likes to shop regularly, then gift cards are great gift options. As I said in yesterdays post, gift cards allow people to buy presents they actually want because lets be real, how many of us have received presents we didn’t really want and haven’t touched since we opened them.
DISCLAIMER: THE GIFTS RECOMMENDED ARE GENERALISED SO THEY CAN BE APPLIED TO MOST PEOPLE. ALL VIEWS EXPRESSED ARE MY OWN.
